Alexis has moved over 100,000 oysters behind the raw bar at Jettie Rae's. That kind of volume requires more than technique. It takes focus, consistency, and a genuine love for the work.

She came to Jettie Rae's with a culinary arts background and time spent on the line at the Biltmore's Stable Café, where she developed the precision and standards she brings to every shell. The shift into a seafood-focused kitchen has been a natural fit.

Ask Alexis about her role, and she'll tell you she's "just a shucker." We'd respectfully disagree.

What keeps her here? The people - guests and coworkers alike and the variety that comes with a room that's always moving. Originally from Pennsylvania, she's found a home in the rhythm of this kitchen.

When she's not at the bar, Alexis unwinds with puzzles, Dungeons & Dragons, and her tabby cat, Jessie.
